I’ve got so much to do today. Luckily, I can do most of it from my desk at home. I don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for the internet . I’m so used to everything being at my fingertips. I can pay all of my bills online, thanks to my bank. I can order my daughter’s first birthday invitations online, thanks to Shutterfly. I can even renew my vehicle’s registration online now, thanks to the updated county website. And when I’m done with all the important stuff, I usually stay online and do some of the things that I enjoy. For instance, I can get most of my shopping done, thanks to GAP, Banana Republic, Nordstrom and Macy’s. I can check emails, thanks to Yahoo. I can be a prowler and get the gossip on everybody’s life thanks to Facebook. I can check the weather and decide what to wear, thanks to The Weather Channel online. I can get the local news with Fox Online. Yep, how did people live without their computer and the connection to the rest of the world before? I don’t know!
